By creating an account, accessing, or using Spenzo's website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our Services.
2Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use Spenzo. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and current.
- You must reside in a jurisdiction where Spenzo is legally available.
- One account per individual; account sharing is not permitted.
- Business or freelance income tracking is permitted, but Spenzo is not a substitute for licensed accounting services.
3Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Account Information
You agree to provide accurate income, expense, and identity information so Spenzo's budgeting and AI features can function correctly. Providing false information may result in inaccurate insights or suspension of your account.
4Our Services
Spenzo provides budgeting tools, expense tracking, AI-assisted financial chat, and investment planning suggestions (including SIPs, PPF, emergency funds, and gold allocations). These suggestions are generated based on the data you provide and general financial principles.
5Payments & Subscriptions
Spenzo's core budgeting features are free. Optional premium features, if offered, are billed on a subscription basis and clearly disclosed before purchase.

Refunds, where applicable, are handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection law and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
6Data We Collect
To provide accurate budgeting, splitting, and investment insights, Spenzo collects the following categories of information:
- Account data: name, email, phone number, password (encrypted).
- Financial data: income, expenses, savings goals, and category-wise spending you input.
- Usage data: device type, app interactions, and feature usage for improving the product.
- AI chat data: messages exchanged with Spenzo's AI assistant, used to generate responses and improve relevance.
7How We Use Your Data
We use the information collected to operate, maintain, and improve Spenzo, including:
- Generating your personalized budget splits and investment suggestions.
- Powering the AI chat assistant's contextual responses.
- Detecting fraud, abuse, or unauthorized account activity.
- Sending essential service updates and, where you've opted in, product news.
We do not sell your personal financial data to third parties for advertising purposes.
8Data Sharing
We may share limited data with trusted service providers strictly to operate the Services — for example, cloud hosting, analytics, and payment processing partners. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Spenzo, our users, or the public.
9Security
We use industry-standard encryption (in transit and at rest), access controls, and regular security audits to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

- Object to certain types of automated decision-making.

13Limitation of Liability
Spenzo and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including financial decisions made based on budgeting or investment suggestions provided through the platform. Use of the Services is at your own discretion and risk.
14Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and our Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
